WHO WE ARE

Formed in May of 1996 by founder Judy Quinlivan, Recycled Critter Rescue (RCR) developed from a need to save healthy, good-natured cats and kittens from certain death.  Whether on the street or in a shelter, the likely end for most of these animals is an unhappy existence and an untimely death.  With the help of an entirely volunteer staff, RCR saves animals from these conditions and matches them with homes that offer them the love and care they deserve.

Our Mission

The mission of Recycled Critter Rescue is to rescue homeless, abandoned, abused, or lost cats in the Denver metro area. This objective is partially accomplished by taking unwanted pets or strays; however, most of the emphasis is on rescuing animals from shelters before they are euthanized.
